Depending on your role (student, teacher, parent, or administrator), we may collect:

• Account information — username, school or organization affiliation, role, and authentication credentials managed through our identity provider.
• Profile and learning data — progress, assignments, checkpoints, badges, quiz results, login streaks, and related educational activity stored to deliver the Service.
• Communications — messages you send to support and notification preferences.
• Technical data — device type, browser, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and diagnostic logs needed for security and reliability.
• Push notification tokens — if you opt in to notifications on supported devices.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• Authenticate users and enforce access controls;
• Display progress, reports, and leaderboards within your school context;
• Send service-related notifications you have requested;
• Respond to support requests and protect against fraud or abuse;

We do not sell personal information.

We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including with cloud infrastructure and authentication providers (such as Google Firebase) that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. Schools and authorized staff may access student data within the scope of their educational role.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, your school contract requires, or as needed to comply with law. Data may be deleted or anonymized when no longer required for educational or legal purposes.

7. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission over the Internet is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children and schools

Learn with Odi is intended for use in educational settings. Student accounts are typically provisioned by schools. If you believe we have collected information from a child without appropriate authorization, contact us at destek@macenta.com.tr.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing.
